THE BRAND
Designed for free spirits who still believe in dreams and want to celebrate their unique personalities, Dedo Natis is a casual line with a sartorial soul that aims to make everyday life special through creations rich in color, poetry, and that touch of eccentricity that never hurts.
Each capsule collection tells a story and draws on ancient influences or references to nature and its magnificence, translating into ample volumes and clever silhouettes, and the bold use of prints and embroidery, sometimes combined in unusual ways, but always in full Made in Italy style, which means craftsmanship and attention to detail and materials, in order to offer an ethical, practical, and original wardrobe that combines quality and beauty, extravagance and elegance.
In a world of overexposure where we are often asked to conform to pre-established models and standards, we want to make room for a new concept of fashion, far from conditioning and timeless, so that women of all ages can feel free to express their authenticity and joie de vivre through their clothes.
THE DESIGNER
Chiara De Donatis, born in 1989, lives and works in Rome.
After studying art and design at university, she specialized in women's fashion design and began working at several high-end fashion ateliers in Rome.
In 2019, she founded the brand that bears her name. She promoted her creations by taking part in various trade fairs throughout Italy and at Alta Roma, an aggregator of young fashion designers, exhibiting for three seasons as part of the Showcase project. In 2021, she opened her studio-atelier in the Monteverde district of Rome and in 2024 she opened her first temporary shop in Monti, one of the most iconic areas of the capital.
She is as stubborn as steel and as sensitive as a tulip petal, flaws that allow her to carry on with her project with resilience and passion. In her free time, she loves to paint, practice yoga, travel, let loose with improbable dances to loud music, and drink tea.
RESPONSIBLE FASHION
DEDO NATIS designs and manufactures with environmental and social SUSTAINABILITY in mind. Each creation is born with the intention of promoting and spreading our culture of beauty and craftsmanship, which is why we are committed to this mission at every level of the supply chain.
DEDO NATIS has decided to move beyond the idea of a “collection,” which hides the concept of planned obsolescence of products, and has chosen to design meaningful CAPSULES with a strong and cohesive visual identity, free from seasonal references, durable, and adaptable to the taste and mood of the woman wearing them, rather than in line with a passing trend.
DEDO NATIS prefers to use high-quality Italian fabrics certified by GOTS (organic) and OEKO TEX Standard 100 (absence of harmful substances), and relies on printing and embroidery companies that adopt ethical practices in the creation and production of their semi-finished products.
DEDO NATIS manufactures its garments in central Italy, in small, experienced, mostly family-run workshops, with which the designer collaborates directly to optimize each model in order to guarantee quality and beauty for the end customer.
We are committed to reducing the negative impact on the planet of all the practices we implement as much as possible in order to adhere to and promote the concept of RESPONSIBLE FASHION.
